The Skoda is a well priced car and is a match for any competition. Under the hood, it's a VW platform with just cheaper parts in.
Although you get what you pay for, the Scala does look fun, it's practical and very economical. It's even awarded best family car under £20,000 by Whatcar? 2020.
The Scala is modern looking and shouting "premium" with it's name across the boot, with standard virtual cockpit and a 9.2" Sat Nav system in SE L & Monte Carlo models.
Both petrol and diesel engines perform well, but for me, the 1.5 150ps DSG is the best (monte Carlo).
It's a popular model for Skoda and you can get some great deals, just be sure to compare with VW Golf or SEAT Leon, as they may have a slightly better deal on.
