Here are three great models that will satisfy your desires!
The Volvo XC90
The Nissan Juke
The Nissan Juke arrived in the UK in 2010 and has been credited for starting the crossover revolution. The latest second generation Juke is bigger, more stylish, sporty and fun looking. It’s cheap to run and has a low insurance group rating. The Juke has had some negative press regarding build quality and reliability in the past and we’re hoping this next generation Juke can continue it’s earlier success.
It comes with a 1.0-litre petrol engineproviding 117bhp, pushing the Juke from 0-62mph in 10.4 seconds and acheiving 47mpg.
The basic Visia comes with 16-inch alloys and aircon but you need to go for the Acenta for its 17-inch alloy wheels and eight-inch touchscreen. The N-Connecta and Tekna trims add extra kit and safety features, while Tekna+ and the Premiere Edition comes with a contrasting roof and colourful interior trim.
The Nissan Micra
The Nissan Micra is stylish, sporty and fun looking, not the words we would have previously associated with the Micra. It’s relaible, cheap to run and has a low insurance group rating. The Micra had to impress and get with the times to compete in this market with rivals such as the Renault Clio, the Seat Ibiza, Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 208 or the Volkswagen Polo. Luckily for the last two years (2018 / 2019) it has won a “Best New car of the Year” thanks to it’s bold designs and interior technologies.
It comes with a 1.0-litre IG-T petrol with three cylinders and a turbocharger that replaces the 0.9-litre Renault engine. It’s available with 100bhp, pushing the Micra from 0-62mph in 10.9 seconds. Or the 1.0 DIG-T petrol engine that has 117bhp, with a 0-62mph of 9.9 seconds.
All but the basic Visia+ models have an instrument cluster which incorporates a colour TFT screen. The Entry-level models have a two-speaker stereo with Bluetooth and USB connection for an iPod. If you go for the Acenta, it has a seven-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and mobile phone app integration. You also get four speakers, DAB radio and cruise control.
In conclusion - Three Great Models, that have had lot's of thumbs up!
